The TriQuint 856774 SAW filter is specifically designed for low signal distortion in both amplitude and phase response. Ideal for 3G and 4G infrastructure applications, the 856774 is centered at 140MHz with a 56MHz bandwidth. Greater than 40dB attenuation and flat in-band performance combine to offer very low EVM contribution in high performance, wideband communication systems. TriQuint’s 856774 140MHz SAW filter can be used in either balanced or single-ended circuits and is housed in a hermetic, ceramic, surface-mount package measuring only 9.1×4.8×1.24mm.

RFMW, Ltd. announces the availability of a white paper discussing the proper selection of microwave absorbing and EMI shielding products. This Technical Bulletin from MAST Technologies defines the characteristic properties of various elastomers  used in the manufacture of microwave absorbing products. For example, Nitriles show excellent resistance to petroleum based fuel and oil products so are superior to Silicone in aerospace and flight line environments. For high temperature applications or where dilute acids may be encountered, a Viton based absorber may be the best option. MAST Technologies’ elastomer based absorbers are used in a variety of commercial and military applications…
